Twelve-year-old Robert Irwin, son of the deceased “crocodile hunter” Steve Irwin, said that he is determined to follow in the footsteps of his father. The teenager appeared on the Australian talk show “Australia Today” and said that, like his dad, he’s just obsessed with wildlife.
Despite her young age, Rob is the co-host of the popular Australian show “Wild But True”. This program earned him the prestigious nomination for EMMY KIDS award.
“I’m going to do everything the same as my father,” said Robert, who at the time of the death of a Pope was two years old. In career development, said the teenager, helping him eighteen-year-old sister Bindi and mother Terri, who continue the work of the husband and father even after his death.
“My father was the original wildlife warrior. He was the most incredible and took an active part in its protection. Every day we strive to extend his legacy,” said Robert.
Recall that on 4 September marks 10 years since the tragic and absurd death of Steve from hitting thorn electric ray. On this day, the daughter of the deceased TV star wrote on his page in the social network: “You’ll be my hero till the end of my days. I love you more than I can describe with words.”
