American singer Selena Gomez, who last fall had interrupted his world tour to concentrate on your health, said in an interview with Vogue that continued treatment for lupus, an autoimmune disease which she was diagnosed with several years ago.
Earlier in the week, Selena made a donation to the University, whose medical lab is engaged in research on lupus. So she founded her own Fund, whose main task is the search for therapy of this disease.
“During the tour I feel lonely. Added to all depression and exhaustion, started having panic attacks, sometimes they happen just before going on stage, or immediately after the concert. I felt bad and could not give the fans what they deserve and it was unfair.
When I spoke in front of children, I asked them to promise me that nobody will ever make them feel not good enough or unlucky. But when I sang in front of 20-, 30-year-old, I didn’t know what to tell them. I saw them smoke and drink alcohol on my show. I couldn’t tell them, “Promise me you will be happy always” because life is full of stress and problems, and these people are every day faced with the same problems as me. I had a great desire to escape. I have no wisdom, what I’d like to share with these people. I realized that I’m just wasting time” — frankly admitted Selena.
Now five days a week, Gomez visited his therapist. This treatment has changed the life of the singer for the better and she wants as many people as possible know about therapy.
“Us girls society wants to look beautiful, sexy, smart. We should also have the right to be a pussy about it and just be myself,” said Selena.
