Princess of Thailand has seen “dance drama masks” at the Mariinsky theatre

News Agency “News”. Wednesday, October 4, the Princess of Thailand Maha Chakri Sirindhon attended a performance of the legendary Thai theater masks “Khon” — a spectacular dance drama masks, with scenes from Ramakien, Thai version of the ancient Hindu epic poem the Ramayana. The play was staged at the Mariinsky theatre in St Petersburg. About it reported in a press-service of the Smolny.

Note that the performance is timed to the 120th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and the Kingdom of Thailand. The Princess of the angels, so Sirindhon called at home for her kindness, before the performance was welcomed by the Governor of St. Petersburg Georgy Poltavchenko.
