The famous rapper Cristian Armando Perez, aka Pitbull, has received a star on the walk of Fame in Hollywood. Last Friday took place the official ceremony during which he thanked the co-author of Lil John, “mastermind” tori Robbins and mentor Luther “uncle Luke” Campbell. The latter also gave a speech, and said words about the career of the rapper and the positive impact of his work on the lives of the younger generation.
“I use these platforms to appeal to all of you and give you to understand that my work not for money or glory, but for our culture. I had to go from nothing to something. This is a Prime example of the American dream” — Pitbull said during the ceremony. Taking this opportunity, he also thanked their families, who all this time supported him.
“There are people in my life that I love and which is always kept in the shadows from the public eye. Maybe it’s selfish of me, but I wanted none of them knew, so they do not become a part of the life to which I have subscribed. I really love them, they are all very important to me”said the artist.
Do not forget the rapper and those by which he got his name on the walk of Fame – their fans, who in large numbers had gathered at the ceremony to support the celebrity.
“Here come those who focus on their work, who works hard, who believes in himself and who goes against all adversity. Loss for me means just another lesson of life,” said Pitbull, and the page in the social network wrote under the photo “What an honor to receive his star on the #hollywoodwalkoffame thanks to all the fans”.
