“Legends of tomorrow” will meet the grandfather of Nate Heywood
The first season of telecomics “Legends of tomorrow” (DC”s Legends of Tomorrow) gave the audience the opportunity to visit the past and look to the future. It seems that the next Chapter in the history of the adventures of Rip hunter and his team will delight fans of the series no less dizzying time travel.
In mid-June it became known that a regular role in “Legends of tomorrow” got Nick Zano, who will embody the image of Nate Heywood, known as Citizen Steel. Then the insiders reported that a new character action-adventure join the crew of the “Manolete and attempt to emerge from the shadows of his grandfather Henry, famous for his exploits on the sidelines of the Second world war. According to TVLine, the creators of the series decided not to mention the famous ancestor, and to arrange with him a complete acquaintance.
The debut of founder of the dynasty of superheroes in the pages of DC comics took place in 1978. Henry Haywood was presented to the public as a young marine is seriously injured during the attack of German spies on American military base. Scientists had to implant in the body of the soldier mechanical device which gave him superhuman strength, endurance and speed. Taking the nickname of Commander Steel, Henry became the secret weapon of the allies in the fight against Nazi Germany.
The famous grandfather of Nate Heywood in “Legends of tomorrow” will play Matthew MacColl that could be remembered by our audience in episodic roles in TV series “fringe” (Fringe), “Homicide” (The Killing), “Supernatural” (Supernatural) and “Bates Motel” (Bates Motel).
The premiere of the second season of “Legends of tomorrow” will be held October 13.
