In Chechnya, “Matilda” Teachers banned rentals

The Ministry of culture of Russia will consider the request of the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov to exclude the Republic from the distribution certificate for the film “Matilda”, reports Interfax.

— Tens of thousands of people of different faiths are asked not to make public the release of the film in the Russian Federation in connection with the fact that he regarded it as a deliberate mockery of the religious feelings of people, the insult of religious feelings and humiliation of human dignity, and the desecration of shrines and centuries-old history of the peoples of Russia, — commented Kadyrov in his letter given in the “Komsomolskaya Pravda”.

Earlier media reported that the head of the Republic sent a letter to the Minister of culture of Russia Vladimir Medinsky with a request to exclude the Chechen Republic from the distribution certificate for the film “Matilda” by Alexei Uchitel.

Recall that Archpriest Vsevolod Chaplin predicted the death of Russia in case the movie was released.
