Health Care Reform Homestretch Hit By President Barak Obama

President Barack Obama had planned to hit the road next week that will really be the final push for health care reform. However, more such events are expected to add by the White House as Obama reaches out, as well, to irresolute members of Congress. On Wednesday, Obama told health care professionals summoned to the White House East Room, “I will do everything in my power to make the case for reform.” The homestretch drive of Obama is expected to come after the Labor Department releases the latest monthly unemployment numbers on Friday and will overlap with a planned weeklong trip of the President to Australia, Indonesia and Guam.

The vibrant can be similar to that of one last summer, when health care reform began to unravel in Congress. At that time Obama was out of the country in a trip to Russia, Italy and Ghana. More than 100 people were gathered by Obama on last March 5, at the White House that included members of Congress to health care professionals. The motive was to begin discussing reforms, an effort he said he wanted to complete by the end of last summer.
