Fred Savage will play a major role in the “Friends from College”

Three months after the cancellation of the Comedy “Crusher” Fred Savage has found himself a new Comedy series in which it will be joined by Keegan-Michael Key (“Fargo”) and cobie Smulders ‘ the (“the Avengers”).

According to the publication Entertainment Weekly, the streaming service Netflix has ordered the production of the series “Friends from College”, which will be in charge, the couple – producer, writer and Director Nicholas Stoller (“Neighbors on the warpath”) and his wife, actress Francesca Delbanco. The pair will share the duties of Executive producers and writers of the series, all eight episodes which will remove the Stoller.

The plot of the show revolves around a group of friends who graduated from Harvard University (Stoller and Delbanco are graduates) and who at the age of forty has achieved different level of success. “The series will be shown often uneasy relationship friends with each other, and with a humorous perspective the investigated issues such as old friends, former romantic relationships and balancing on the verge of adulthood and nostalgia for bygone days,” – said in an official statement, Netflix.

In addition to these actors, the series will star Annie the Parissa (“Vinyl”), NAT Faxon (“Married”) and JHA V. su (“shorting”).

Stoller recently directed Neighbors. On the trail of war 2″ has worked with Savage in the “Crusher” where was the Executive producer.
The production of “Friends from College” will begin this fall.
