At the age of 46 years, a famous Spanish fashion designer David Delfin lost his battle with cancer. Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy expressed his condolences over the death of the designer on Sunday in a live TV program. The official said that Delfin “was one of the most charismatic and creative designers in Spain,” which “leaves an incomparable legacy.”
David was born in Malaga. In 2001, he founded his own Studio. Delfin is remembered for his provocative images. He first closed face models the hoods, and at the fashion show Pasarela Cibeles released the model on the runway with loops around the neck.
During his career he has won many international awards and last year was awarded the National prize of Spanish fashion design for “the development of their own avant-garde universe.”
