The world community is shocked by the death of sir Roger Moore, Hollywood actor and one of the highlights of the “James Bond” in the same franchise. British actor died at the age of 89 years.
At the time Roger became the subject of jokes – he bore little resemblance to that of James bond, special agent who appeared in the novels of Ian Fleming, but he managed to create the image a bit frivolous and ironic, 007, so masterfully embody which turned out to anyone. Even now, despite all the successes of the Sean Connery and Daniel Craig, Moore leads the list of the best James Bonds.
Many colleagues have already expressed condolences and paid tribute to the artist on his page in the social network. One of the first regret was expressed by Jane Seymour Britt Ekland – actress, appeared on the screen, with Roger in the series of James bond “the Man with the Golden gun” and “Live and let die”.
“Gone is my bond, and I feel such a deep void. Roger was the epitome of bond – witty, sophisticated, elegant, funny. Rest in peace,” wrote Eklund.
Echoed her warm words and Jane Seymour, who played the love interest of the hero Roger “Live and let die”.
“The news of the death of Roger’s devastated me. My first role was as a bond girl. For me it was such a new and frightening world, but Roger took me by the hand and walked through this whole process. He taught me acting ethics and humility. He was funny and very kind, everything around him had acquired a new light. Then he taught me how to be a movie star. He was my bond and will always remain so” — wrote Jane.
