Crispin Glover will star in the Thriller “We have always lived in the castle”
Michael Douglas will be one of the producers of the film with Glover, Alexandra Daddario and Taisei Farmiga.
Crispin Glover will play in the atmospheric Thriller “We have always lived in the castle” on the short story by Shirley Jackson, 1962. The film tells the story of the Blackwood family living in the suburbs and cut off from other residents of the town with magic and talismans. The family has already lost four victims of poisoning when coming to visit a distant relative (Sebastian Stan), and then all the skeletons coming out of the wardrobes and all the secret becomes clear.
Glover will play uncle Julian Blackwood, gangrene confined to a wheelchair and obsessed with the mysterious death of his wife and brother.
Alexandra Daddario (“True detective”, “Fault San Andreas fault”) and taissa Farmiga (“American horror story”) will play sisters who suffer agoraphobia. Shooting will begin this month in Dublin. Director and co-writer will perform Stacy Passon, and one of the producers will be Michael Douglas. Shirley Jackson wrote the novel “the Ghost house on the hill”, filmed in 1963 and in 1999.
Glover is now removed in the long-awaited adaptation of “American gods” by Neil Gaiman for the TV channel Starz.
